WHAT TIME DO THE LOCAL RACES START?
Out local races start at 1:15pm on most race days.
WHAT TIME DO THE GATES OPEN?
Our Gates open at 11am.
DO YOU HAVE ENTERTAINMENT AFTER THE RACES?
No. Due to a number of circumstances there is no entertainment at the track after a race meeting unless otherwise specified.
CAN WE BRING OUR OWN FOOD AND DRINKS TO A RACE MEETING?
No. The Gladstone Turf Club Inc. have strict liquor licensing regulations as well as Workplace Health & Safety policies that we are by law required to obey.
We have a full time caterer on site. To order platters or request special dietary requirements please contact Green Pepper.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED TO ATTEND RACE MEETING?
Yes. We provide a safe family environment for all ages.
Under 18 year olds must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A MARQUEE BOOKING?
Marquees include a table and seating for 20 people.
There is only a limited number of marquees available along the fence, trackside. The remainder are situated the next row back.
Allocations are made in order of bookings - sponsors and special guests are given priority placement.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A TABLE BOOKING?
Tables include seating for 10 people.
They are situated under the main shed area or on the deck subject to your booking type.
IF I BOOK A TABLE OR MARQUEE, IS IT GUARANTEED TO BE AVAILABLE?
Definitely!
CAN I DECORATE MY MARQUEE OR TABLE?
You certainly can. Access is available to the track all morning. Decorations must not pose a threat to horses so they must be well secured. Balloons are discouraged.
We also ask is that you do a quick clean up of decorations before you leave at the end of the day.
IS THERE A DRESS STANDARD?
Public Area – Neat Casual.
Members Bar – A minimum dress standard applies.
